Selecting the right motorcycle insurance is like choosing your bike, you want it to fit your needs and lifestyle, and at the same time be within your budget. Atlass Insurance Group offers programs specifically for the type of bike you own at a reasonable price.

Street Motorcycle Insurance Program

Cruisers, Sport Cycles, High Performance Cycles, Touring Bikes, Trikes, Dual Sports and Standard Bikes that do not qualify for the custom of Classic programs can be written in this program.

• Motorcycles less than 20 years old are eligible for physical damage coverage.
• Liability only coverage is available for any age motorcycle.
• Motorcycles in this program should have no more than $7,500 in optional equipment.

Optional Equipment coverage may be purchased for a motorcycle's optional equipment. Other than collision coverage needs to be purchased before purchasing optional equipment coverage.

Classic Motorcycle Insurance Program

Classic Motorcycles are defined as motorcycles that:

• Are over 19 years of age, and
• Have been restored to or maintained in original condition, and
• Include a minimal amount of optional equipment (not to exceed $500)

Classic motorcycles are usually not driven regularly. Collision coverage and other that collision coverage must be purchased in the Classic Program. Collision and other than collision rates are based on the total value of the motorcycle (including all optional equipment). Covered losses will be paid based on the actual cash value of the motorcycle (including all optional equipment) at the time of loss, not to exceed the amount stated in the declarations.

Coverage may be bound for motorcycles valued at $30,000 or less. Contact us for higher valued motorcycles and do not bind coverage.

Custom Motorcycle Insurance Program

Custom Motorcycles are defined as motorcycles that:

• Have more than $7,500 in optional equipment, or
• Have been modified to the extend they are unique or one-of-a-kind, or
• Require special titling, or
• Are limited production motorcycles manufactured by designated companies, A partial list of such manufacturers include the following companies:
  1. American Eagle Bourget Desperado Ultra
  2. American Ironhorse California Motor Company Stroker
  3. Wild Boar Big Dog Confederate Titan
  4. Wild West

Colision and Other Than Collision rates are based on the total value of the motorcycle (including all optional equipment) at the time of loss not to exceed the amount stated in the declarations.

Coverage may be bound for motorcycles valued at $40,00 or less.

Affinity Group Discount: 5%

This discount is applied when the named insured is a member of an approved affinity group. Discount is only applied once.

Motorcycle Safety Course Discount: 5%

This discount is applied if the operator has taken an approved course within the last three years.

Multi-Vehicle Discount: 10% to 40%

Discount applied to each vehicle; 10% for two vehicles, 25% for three vehicles, 40% for four or more vehicles.

Multi-Owner Surcharge: 50%

A surcharge is applied when the Joint Ownership Coverage endorsement is required.

Multi-Policy Discount: 5%

A Motorcycle Policy is eligible for the Mulit-Policy Discount when one or more voluntary personal auto, homeowner, mobile home or motor home policies is insured with one of the Foremost, Farmers or Zurich family of companies. A Foremost Off-Road Vehicle Policy does not qualify the Motorcycle Policy for the Multi-Policy discount.

Preferred Operator Discount: 12%

To qualify for this discount, the operator must be 25 years of age or older, have 1 year of motorcycle riding experience and two or less minor violations and no major violations or at-fault accidents for the past 3 years. Operators with International drivers permits do not qualify for this discount.

Prior Insurance Discount: 10%

This discount is applied if the first named insured had a motorcycle insured for at least the past 6 months. Up to a 5 day gap between the effective date of our policy and the prior insurance expiration date will be allowed. Applies to the policy term only.
